The trail meanders through stark landscapes, with the river cutting through the deepest gorge in the world. After a few hours of trekking, you'll reach Kagbeni, a quaint village that serves as the gateway to Upper Mustang. Departing from Chele, you’ll ascend to the Taklam La Pass at 3,624 meters, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. The trail continues through plateaus and gorges, passing through the village of Samar. After a rest stop, proceed to the Bhena La Pass and then descend into the picturesque Syanbochen valley.
